New member in Maryland MD
Hi All,
I'm a new member in Silver Spring, MD, who read Rich Dad, Poor Dad, and realized I don't have to be living paycheck to paycheck forever! And, that my husband and I can make our real estate visions a reality. We have a one-year-old son and want to give him a stable future as well as a solid financial education, one that we are just now working on ourselves. Our goal is to start with a few small multiunit rental properties and grow from there (thanks @Brandon Turner for the numerous resources in this realm!)
I'm looking forward to getting to know you, learning from you, and hopefully soon sharing my own knowledge -- and success stories!

- welcome to BP! There is a wealth of (FREE!) resources on this website. Set up some keywords so that posts that interest you will be directed to your email. I don't know how to embed topic links here but others do. There are many REIAs and Meetups in the area with local DC/MD/VA investors.
