Chicago Investor Apprenticeship

Hello all! I am new to the Chicagoland and am interested in connecting with investors, contractors, agents and lenders alike. I have previously in the Dallas market and being new to Chicago I would love to familiarize myself with the market and the community. I would love to know if there are any groups, clubs or events in the area for investors both residential and commercial and if there are any companies with apprenticeships for investors, property managers or project managers. Any wisdom is greatly appreciated! Thank you all so much!

 This is completely true. I fell backward into real estate investment and brokerage through my work in construction and development.
