Hi all,
My name is Kevin and I am looking to purchase a multi-family apartment building with 2-4 units in the next 3-5 years. I purchased my first investment property (2bd 2bth condo) last year and have been renting out a bedroom to a friend of mine. I did a lot of renovations (paint, wood floors, kitchen backsplash, new doors, new molding, blinds, etc.) and am trying to take this approach to the next level with a bigger investment property. My goal is to network with professionals who have experience investing in real estate and to learn effective ways to analyze and value potential investments. I just came home from a great real estate investment group meeting that a bunch of us BPers in the D.C. area started 4 months ago. We've met four times so far and am really enjoying the exchange of information and learning opportunities that are naturally present when you put like-minded folks together.
