Rookie Investor from San Francisco

Hi Bigger Pockets fam!

My name is Lonnie Perez and I'm a brand-new investor out of San Francisco. I recently finished the Rookie Bootcamp with Tyler & Ashley and I'm excited to get started. I aim to begin with Fix & Flips to create immediate cash flow and then transition to STR/MTRs. My goal is to invest within my local markets, but I'm open to out-of-state with the Bay Area being so expensive.

My wife is a veteran real estate agent in SF and is very focused on continuing to build her book of business, so I'm leading the charge in the household on the investment side. I've built a long career within the tech industry in sales, but I'm looking to get out and make a change..

To all my fellow rookies and veteran investors, please don't hesitate to reach out. Would love any tips/insight to help kickstart my journey or if you'd just like to meet up for an IRL/virtual coffee. See you around!

Hey @Lonnie Perez, if you're considering between other states I would check out Cleveland, OH.

A ton of fix and flips and STR/MTR opportunities near the major hospitals and clinics. The cost of entry is low, and cash flow is high.
