New Investor looking to learn!

Hello everyone,

I'm new to this community and currently based in Madison, WI, where I plan to invest. I am also considering investing in short-term rental properties on the West Coast. I first got into real estate in 2014, but I didn't know what to do and let it slip. Recently, I accidentally got back into it because I own a home and plan on renting it out. My research on being a landlord has reignited my interest in real estate investment.

I hope to buy a property locally in the next six months and then expand to another state within a year. I'm super excited to start this journey and am happy to have found BP and this community to help and guide me!
