Hey my names Nick, I just signed up today been following and listening to bigger pockets for a while now and always interested in real estate investing. I'm in the union on long island so I have a decent W2 job to help get started, I think a house hack would be my best bet starting out but, what do you guys think?

Hey Nick, welcome to BP!

A house hack is a great way to start. Especially if you're in an appreciation market because the leverage you'll have with the low down-payment will take you a lot further with your money invested.

Another benefit of house-hacking is the fact that it's a great learning experience. You'll be able to learn the ropes of managing a property and coordinating repairs/renovations.
