Hi Everyone,

I got started in real estate investing about 12 years ago after attending a Rich Dad Poor Dad conference, which sparked my interest. Initially, I pursued wholesaling with the goal of generating income to eventually buy and hold properties. However, after a successful first wholesale deal, I realized wholesaling wasn't the right fit for me and I took a break from real estate to explore other opportunities.

I'm now excited to dive back into real estate investing and am eager to network with other investors and real estate professionals in the area. I'm particularly interested in learning about buying multifamily properties or apartments.

I'd love to hear any advice or encouragement you might have. Specifically, I'm wondering about the best first steps for education and whether getting a real estate license would be beneficial. Also, I’m considering working with a real estate investor, property manager, or an investor-friendly brokerage—do you think that’s a good idea? For new investors, would you recommend focusing on short-term rentals or long-term rentals?

Thank you so much for your time and input!

Best,
Anna
