Hello,

I am new to this forum. 

I am new to real estate investing and got into it because of the book The House Hacking Strategy.

I live in San Diego; the rent is just crazy. And my only asset is that I am under 30, single and can move to any place to make my dream come true. That being said, I significanlty lack knowledge in this field.

Please advise me of what you would do if you were me!

well, do you want to stay in San Diego?  if so, house hack in San Diego.  and if you don't have enough money to house hack in San Diego... save up until you do.

and if you want to move somewhere else, house hack there.  i wouldn't tell you where you should move since i don't know you.

also, a lender would be in the best position to advise whether you qualify for a specific loan.  so - call some lenders.
