New Potential Investor From Ohio

Hello, my name is Nick. Just stopped in to introduce myself.

I grew up on the west side of Cleveland and am currently living in Cincinnati and going to school at University of Cincinnati.

I'm just a typical college student and I want to start learning about the real estate industry so I can invest in the future. I'm primarily interested in flips and possibly some buy-and-holds down the road once I have capital. I'm interested in FHA loans or 203K's because of the little capital needed and I don't mind living, breathing, and sleeping with my investment. I'm looking forward to working on my properties myself and being very involved, at least in the beginning.

Just looking for any and all knowledge about the real estate industry. Motivated to get started this summer and at least meet some other young investors who could use a hand or two. Can't wait to get my hands dirty!

Hello @Nicholas Shafer and welcome to Biggerpockets. You have just found the best resource and possibly the best place for learning about real estate investing. Be sure to utilize all the tools you have available podcast, blogs, forum etc etc... In addition to that I also would like to recommend your download and read "The ultimate beginners guide for real estate investing" by Biggerpockets. Hope it helps.
