Sorta new to Real estate investing

Hello all, 

I am sort of new to real estate investing. I tried years ago, but wasn't very successful. I would like to step into the market again whether wholesaling or fix and flipping. Looking to connect with those in NC and those who's created bigger pockets. Thanks :)
