New Guy Here Saying Hello

Hello BiggerPockets!  I'm Jason Jones.  I did 20 years as first responder and retired a little over a year ago.  I obtained my RE license a little over a year ago as well and have been trying to find my niche.  I've done a little work in the commercial realm and am now branching out into the residential realm.  I am also brand new to the investment side of things and am trying to learn as much as I can as quickly as I can.  I'm looking forward to interacting with all of y'all and learning what I can.  Thanks!!

Welcome, Jason! Are your goals to build your agent business, invest in real estate, or both? 

If the former, consider setting up some keyword alerts, and then attending a few local meetups. Greet every new investor and get lots of coffee. 

If the latter, I'd suggest forming a first "bad buy box" - a first hypothesis about where to invest, bringing that to other agents and investors, and refining it over and over again.
