New investor from Methuen, MA
Hi Everyone!
My name is Dave, and I'm from the Merrimack Valley area of northern Massachusetts. I work a job as a full time Electrical Engineer but I'm looking to get involved in real estate investing with the goal of eventually making it my primary source of income. In my free time I enjoy working out/being physically active, spending time with my family, working on my home, and pursuing my real estate investing goals.
I've been a member of BiggerPockets for a few months now. I've been doing a lot of reading both in and outside of BiggerPockets, listening to podcasts, and just taking it all in. This website is great and I'm lucky to have found such an inspirational group of people that are so passionate about real estate investing.
I've set a goal for myself at the beginning of this year to acquire at least one new property for the purposes of buy-and-hold investing by the end of the year. I'm currently in the process of negotiating my first offer and I may post the numbers over in the deal analysis forums if anyone is interested!
