Good day all! Been neck deep in research (books, forums, podcasts, etc) for the past 6 months or so, but figured it was time to start posting. At a point where most newbies get, where more general research won't create progression.

Thomas (Josh) Gentry, live in Colorado Springs, CO with my wife and 3 kids. Originally from Durham, NC. Two years away from military retirement and looking toward RE and REI to pave a different path for myself and family. Looking at buy and hold, but I'd say it's a little early to pin down a niche or strategy without any experience, network, or local market knowledge.
