Hello everyone! I am so excited that I stumbled on this website. I am excited to learn more about real estate investment and connect with people. To be honest, I have always been intrigued about real estate investment. However, my husband and I have been weary of doing anything because we are afraid of getting in over our head. I figure the best way to conquer our fear is to get more information from people who know better than we do! I've started reading through the beginner's guide to real estate investing and I plan on following the advice in it.

@Henrietta Bright - welcome to BP! There is a wealth of FREE information here for you and your husband. There are many REIAs in the area as well as meetups. One I really like is the Baltimore Washington Meetup (in Columbia). You can Google that as well as -

I'm sure there is something local to Bowie as well but others can chime in on that. There are a lot of investors that come from over your way to the BW Meetup.
