First Time Investor - Western PA

Kevon Black
Posted

Hey everyone,

Nice to meet you all and looking forward to being part of this community! I'm a first time investor who recently relocated to the Western, PA area and am looking to invest locally for my first deal. After various podcasts, books (ex. Real Estate Side Hustle by Devon Kennard), and conversations with real estate investors in the area, I'm starting to put together my "Core 4" team members.

I'd love to hear any advice/learnings that you all have in regards to creating a successful team. Specifically, any guidance on working with Lenders would be great.

Thanks all.

Welcome Kevon! I recommend joining local real estate meetups and Facebook groups to connect with investors and contractors. You’ll pick up great lender referrals that way. From my experience, smaller regional banks in Western PA can be flexible, so start those relationships early.
