Not new to real estate

Posted

Hello everyone. I am not necessarily new to real estate. I was a realtor in Texas for two years. I did not get into investing, but was interested when I was a realtor. I am really interested in it, however not sure where or how to start with fairly limited resources. Can I use investment money that is tax free for real estate, do I have to primary residence as a veteran using VA loan? My current home, where my family is, is in TX, but I work in VA. I don't want residency in VA, nor want to change everything to VA. I would be more interested in investing in TX, but not opposed to VA, MD, or DC.
