Hi All, new member in Sarasota FL. Gal and I were looking at purchasing our first home (lifelong renters). Through the process, pre-approvals, agents, searching, etc.. became clear that we'd be taking on additional expenses with a big mortgage to get our dream house (pool, staircase, yada yada...) We're going to continue renting and look to purchase an investment property. We're brand new but feel excited and pleased with what we feel like is a better decision. Learning quickly this is going to be a job.. which doesn't deter the excitement :)

One question we are curious about.. as we try to get / stay organized and log our discussions, contacts, deals, people, etc... Is there a good CRM you might recommend to get started? Can spin up a spreadsheet and would probably be fine or.. would be willing to invest in a CRM perhaps? What would you recommend?

Thank you and excited to join the community.

Welcome! I would encourage you to consider that your first home doesn’t have to be and is unlikely to be most people’s dream home. It can be an excellent opportunity to build equity, experience and a RE portfolio with the benefit of lower interest rates and down payment.
