Excited to start my journey

Hello my name is Zaid and I am 21 years old. I’m new to BiggerPockets and super excited to start my real estate journey. Right now, I work in manufacturing, but I know it’s not something I want to do long-term. I’ve always wanted to build something bigger for myself something that gives me more freedom and purpose.

I’m ready to take on the challenges that come with learning real estate and eventually investing in properties. I’m here to soak up as much knowledge as I can and connect with people who’ve been where I’m trying to go.

If anyone has book recommendations, podcasts, or beginner steps that helped you get started, I’d really appreciate it. I’m open to advice and always looking to learn from people with experience.

Looking forward to being part of the community and taking my first real steps into this world.

I'd start with house hacking.

id read set for life and rich dad poor dad to start. Get the fundamentals of personal finance right by spending less than you make and investing the difference.

Then, start by looking into house hacking. Learn how to analyze deals, go to local meetups and start by getting an investor friendly agent and lender.
