Looking for advice

Isaac Karanikos
Posted

Hi all, I am a 20 year old sophomore at The Ohio State University. I am interested in real estate and investing in multi family units in the future. Right now I am forced to work a job that has nothing to do with what I want to do in life so that I can pay bills. I'm looking for advice on ways to be able to earn an income while also gaining experience in the real estate industry. As I am new to this , I am not particular about what part of real estate I learn, so long as it builds a strong foundation so that I may narrow down what actually fits with what I want my future to look like. I'd love to hear any advice/paths to run down to help me with this goal.

Hey Issac!

I would say the best way to start learning about real estate is to attend local real estate meetings. Another good way is to shadow real estate agents who work with investors. I would also shadow some residential agents.
