New to Investing

Hailey Barnes
Posted

Hi everyone! I am new to Real Estate Investing. My husband and I recently purchased our first investment house to flip and sale. From there will use profits to purchase more investments properties. We have so much to learn and are excited to be apart of this community, to learn and grow, and hopefully be able to pass on knowledge in the future to our children or anyone wanting to get into the Real Estate business! In advance, I appreciate everyone help and willingness to share your knowledge with others to accomplish a successful business!

@Hailey Barnes

Hey Hailey, congratulations on taking that first big step — closing on your first flip is a huge milestone! Flipping is a great way to build capital and momentum early on, especially when you stay disciplined with your rehab budget and comps. A lot of investors eventually use those profits to branch into buy-and-hold or BRRRR deals for long-term cash flow and equity growth. The key is building a reliable team and tracking every number closely. Are you planning to focus on Arkansas, or are you open to exploring out-of-state opportunities with strong cash flow potential?
