Hi all I am Kyle Elmer, my wife Tania and I are full time investors based in Dunedin, New Zealand. I have found you guys from the podcasts which I have been really enjoying and which have given me a real buzz to get back in to a buying rather than operating mode. You'll see on my profile page we have been basically full time in property for about 12yrs now. I am a qualified golf professional and Tania is a management accountant by training but we have both grown up around real estate. To relax we enjoy our holiday home about 1hr from Queenstown, any other travel around the world we can fit in and I religiously follow the Formula 1 racing. Ive not used forums before so please guide me. From listening in to the podcasts I am keen to learn more on alternative financing and putting together groups of investors in deals, probably buy and hold, as have only used straight bank finance really here, apart from a couple of friends loans for deposits in the early days. We don't have a limit on the number of residential mortgages over here yet but there is big talk of some kind of limit being brought in soon so would like to get a step ahead of the market. We currently control 24 rental incomes, have a management business that runs 250 properties, have this last year or so started a small construction renovation business to support this and have been involved in a number of committees and boards. I would say we are probably around about the intermediate level wishing push through to the next level. Looking forward to the learning. Kyle

Hi Kyle,

Good on you Kiwi!

Go All Blacks!

Daniel Carter and Ritcie McCaw for PM!

I was in Auckland from 2001 to 2010, the Bush Jr years, had 5 major reno projects in the Grey Lynn - Ponsonby - Pt Chevalier areas of Auckland, and a beach house "bach" reno in Whangaporoa Red Beach.

My two kids were born in Auckland Hospital, so they are dual citizens, and they love love their Kiwi friends on Skype.

I did a Ponsonby Lease Purchase in 2007 see

Brian Gibbons
