New(ish) Member Introduction
Hello everyone,
My name is Jackson. I’ve been lurking and occasionally commenting on BP for a bit, but wanted to finally introduce myself.
I got involved in real estate last year at 19 after deciding I didn’t want to pay rent while in school. That decision turned into buying a home, house-hacking it by renting out two rooms, getting licensed as a real estate agent, all while I'm a full-time student at the University of Missouri.
I’m currently based in Columbia, MO, but St. Louis is home long-term and a market I’d like to become more active in. Right now, my focus is on direct-to-seller small multifamily deals, and I’m beginning to explore portfolio optimization strategies and consulting work using my finance background.
Looking forward to learning, contributing where I can, and making connections. The longer I’m in this space, the more I realize how much there is still to learn.
