Aircraft Mechanic Turned STR Operator — Building Something for Landlords
Hey everyone, Lucas here, based in NYC.
Background's a little unconventional: I'm an aircraft mechanic by trade, tried different routes into Real Estate but got started running STRs on the side and got hooked on real estate from there.
Recently I've been building something called Vantage (vantagestr.co) with my brother, it's a platform connecting landlords with vetted STR operators. The idea came from seeing how hard it is for both sides to find each other. Landlords don't know STR operators exist as a tenant option, and operators spend forever hunting for landlord-friendly properties.
Still early days, but learning a ton. Here to connect with other investors, share what's working (and what's not), and keep leveling up.
