Hello from Brooklyn New York. My name is Lazette and am looking to obtain my first rental property. Im strategizing if it will be a short term or long term rental or if I will have it as an Airbnb.

Welcome to the community! One thing I would encourage, whether you go short term/airbnb or long term rental. Do your due diligence to see what municipalities allow as far ash STR <30 days. Some townships straight up out law it. For long term rental, find a potential market and see if there are any additional inspections/registries required in order to run a rental in the area.
