New to Real Estate

Hello :)

My name is Amber. I have been interested in real estate investing for several years. I have owned one rental in the past, 2007-2021. It was an accidental rental because of the time frame when we purchased the house. We were unable to sell it when we needed to move in 2010 so we rented it out for several years before we sold it.

I am currently trying to learn everything I can about rentals and real estate in my area. My goal for 2026 is to purchase a duplex or small single family home in the Wichita or Derby area. Right now, I'm in the learning everything and trying to be prepared for when I find a good deal. If you have any advice at all, send it my way!
