New Member Introduction
Hello Everyone! I'm a 20yr old living in the Rio Grande Valley, Texas. it's been about 2 years that I discovered real estate investing, I have been reading and watching BP Podcasts since then. My plan is to enter real estate investing through house hacking a duplex. Though I am open to discussions/ feedback on how to get my first deal going. Would anyone know if house hacking is an ideal approach in my area of living? If so, what should be my next steps to begin searching my first real estate deal?
On a side note, would anyone know if I should get a real estate agent license through "Aceable Agent", if it would even help my investment journey?

Welcome. An investor mindset is completely different from agent mindset. Here are the books I would recommend for you to read/listen for fundamentals in real estate:
Strategy:
Rich man in Babylon
Robert Kiosaki
- Rich Dad Poor Dad
- Cashflow Quadrant
- Guide to investing
- Real book of Real Estate
Real Estate Journey:
Ken McKelroy
