Hello bigger pockets community my name is Gregg Villnave and I am excited to start my bigger pockets journey. I have been investing in commercial and residential rental and flip properties for about 3 years. Only recently I have begun purchasing multi family properties to hold. My goal last year was to purchase and have 20 occupied units and I achieved exactly that. It was a tough road, as I found out that DSCR and conventional bank programs aren't interested in rural areas but that's where I live and there is a huge need for quality family housing. I turned to hard money lending as an alternative and also to make quick purchases as to not lose out on some incredible deals. Only today I had my closing to refi 5 properties at once, to get them out of the hard money lending. This feels like a great success. I am so interested in hearing about the experiences of other investors, so I can learn other methods, hear other challenges, avoid the pitfalls, and most of all listen to other success stories. I have stared a few other businesses but this one seems to get me the most excited and captivates my interest as I crawl nearer to retirement. Looking forward to starting this journey with bigger pockets professionals like all of you!
