From Affordable Housing to Portfolio Management – Looking Forward to Connecting

Hello everyone,

My name is Eric, and I'm excited to join the BiggerPockets community.

I've spent my career in property and portfolio management, working across residential, commercial, industrial, affordable housing, and manufactured housing communities. Currently, I oversee a portfolio of more than 150 properties and am involved in everything from day-to-day operations and capital improvement projects to renovations, development coordination, and value-add initiatives.

One of the most rewarding experiences in my career was leading the lease-up and stabilization of a No Place Like Home (NPLH) supportive housing community, helping provide permanent housing for individuals experiencing homelessness while balancing operational and ownership objectives.

I'm joining BiggerPockets to continue learning from experienced investors, expand my network, and gain more insight into the ownership and investment side of real estate. While I have extensive management and operations experience, I'm always interested in learning new strategies and hearing different perspectives.

I'd love to connect with other investors, operators, property managers, and developers. What has been the most valuable lesson you've learned as a real estate investor?

Looking forward to being part of the community.
