Real Estate-Focused CPA Getting More Active on BP
Hi everyone,
My name is Richard and I'm a CPA and Real Estate Investor from CA!
I’ve been a BiggerPockets member since 2020, but I’ll be honest, I’ve mostly been reading from the sidelines and hiding under a rock. I’m looking to change that and be more active in the community.
A little about me: I’m a CPA by trade, but real estate has also been a big part of my life personally and professionally. I invest myself, help manage the numbers and business behind my brother’s flip/handyman business, and spend a lot of time around rentals, flips, contractors, and the financial side of real estate.
What I enjoy most is the overlap between the numbers and the actual deal. From cash flow, profitability, financing, taxes, entity structure, and how decisions made during a project show up financially later.
