I'm Alex from west-central Ohio, and I'm excited to connect with other investors here on BiggerPockets.

By day I'm a school social worker, but real estate has become a true passion of mine. I love everything from analyzing deals and planning renovations to finding creative ways to add value to a property. My husband, Dakota, shares that passion. His career has taken him from working on foreclosed properties for banks to becoming an electrician, and now a Senior Project Manager. Together we bring a mix of construction knowledge, project management, and a long-term investing mindset.

We're actively investing in value-add single-family homes throughout western and central Ohio and are always looking for our next opportunity. While our primary focus is Ohio, we're also interested in building relationships with investors and professionals throughout the Midwest.

I'd love to connect with other investors, wholesalers, Realtors, lenders, contractors, or anyone who enjoys talking real estate. I'm a big believer that this business is built on relationships just as much as it is on numbers, and I'm looking forward to learning from the community, sharing ideas, and hopefully doing some deals together.

What markets are you taking a look at to get started in other than Ohio? We've worked with a lot of investors that got started in Akron and then moved to Memphis because our rent to price ratios are better. Would be happy to connect and talk more about that!
