Greetings from a Coastal Orange County Real Estate Advisor
Hey everyone, I'm Tom Bertog, a real estate advisor working across San Clemente, Dana Point, and coastal Orange County. Figured it was time to create an account and get involved here. Most of my work involves buying and selling coastal and lifestyle focused homes, along with helping people figure out if the area is actually the right long term fit before they commit to a move. I've been in this market long enough to see it go through a lot of different phases, and I still learn something new from it most weeks.
Property condition tends to matter more out here than people expect going in, especially with older coastal homes that look great on the surface but need a closer look before anyone gets attached to them. I try to walk clients through that early rather than after they've already fallen in love with a place.
