Hi All!

I want to start off by thanking all of the members of BiggerPockets. It is your contributions over the years that have helped me more than you know. I have followed this site on and off for years, finding both motivation and reassurance that financial independence can be reached through real estate investments.

I have been a real estate agent since 2005 and been self-employed since 2000. I am a self-starter, driven, committed to success and learning.

I have been involved in real estate investing since 2002. I have learned from the school of hard knocks (yep, the recession got me too!) what not to do, and am now focusing on creating a sustainable real-estate portfolio that withstand the ebbs and flow of time.

I have a strong background in real estate law and am skilled at negotiating. I hope to pitch in where and how I can to help other members, as well as learn myself.

Although I have been watching from afar, part of the reason why I love this community is that a group of like-minded individuals who treat each other well and with respect. I hope to add to that equation!

@Angelique Tinney Thank you so much for inviting me. Unfortunately, I already have other plans for tonight. However, I do wish I could be there as it will undoubtedly be an educational night of do's and don'ts. I am sad to miss it. I would love to attend next month's meeting. Do you have an idea as to what the topic will be yet? I am looking forward to meeting you in person.
