My name is Ted Wilcox. My wife and I decided to get into this business. We live in Albuquerque and would like to start rehabilitating houses in our area. We have gotten some "Guru" training, and I have read The Ultimate Beginner's Guide to Real Estate Investing. I am working on a possible deal here.
Our real estate goals are to do fix and flips to build up our cash reserves and then start buying cash flow properties to build an ongoing residual income for retirement.
I am an IT Specialist for the Federal Gov't and my wife is a Medical Administrator. I have been a software developer, and still dabble with code on occasion.
