Good Afternoon everyone,

I am a new member from Howell, Michigan. I have literally just started getting my feet wet and looking into real estate investing. I currently work overseas in Afghanistan as a private security consultant and my goal is to use the excess income I have now to help build a security net for myself and my young daughter. I was wondering if there are any Home Inspector on here that I could maybe connect with and pick there brains on possibly going that route for another source of income when I decide to come home and to help me get into the real-estate scene. I do not wish to make real-estate a full time career but it has always intrigued me and would love to eventually own a few single-family or multi-family rental properties. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
