Investor from Lowell, MA

Posted

hello all,

I am so glad to find such a good community of investors, I think this is one of the best opportunities for all of us to grow and share experiences.

I am 26 from Lowell, Massachusetts. Still a newbie investor.

My investing strategy is to buy cheap properties, rent them, create a cash flow and never sell, therefore keep building my portfolio.

I will be coming with few questions along the way as I learn more and more about the field of RE investing. Hopefully with some help from experienced investors I avoid making some dumb newbie mistakes...

Any investor from Lowell, MASS here ??

@Jeff L. I have 4 one bedroom units on 19th st in Lowell. I had 200 requests for showings in two weeks time with my units listed at 1200 each. It’s a good neighborhood and nice property and I don’t know what yours looks like but I think you could get a bit more for your 2 bedrooms and for your studio. Not much rents for less than 1000 in Lowell it seems. I agree with @Steve McGovern, if you don’t NEED the 2200 that you might want to drop your price slightly on the 4 bedrooms especially if your having trouble placing tenants.
