They say it takes a village to raise a child, well village, here is your new baby. I am brand new to the business, and I am looking to do my first successful deal. I have researched and studied for almost two months and I have even been to a siminar, Fortune Builders, maybe you've heard of them. I couldn't believe how much they wanted in order to join there mentoring program. I got some decent knowledge from the seminar, but over all they where I know they were just trying to sell there product. I know that I can be successful without it and I believe joining bp is a good start. I am also join the local rei club, and I feel that I am ready to start my journey. All help and advice welcome, thanks in advance bp!!!

Hi Cedric,

Welcome to Biggerpockets. So far, you have done everything right in my opinion. Research, study, not buying the FB program, joining BP, and joining your local REI club are all the right moves. Now, use the search function on the upper right hand corner and locate some successful investors from Duluth and nearby cities. I hope they will take you under their wings and show you the rope.

Good luck.
