Hello Everyone,

I have been interested in real estate investing for quite some time now, and been lucky to have already one rental property on my hands, which so far has been a great experience. I am looking forward to acquire more rentals and maybe in the future try flipping in the Houston market and surrounding areas. With BP I hope to gain a lot of necessary knowledge to be successful in REI and meet people that can help me get started, a little guidance, and hopefully in the future I can help other members of the site. I am excited to become a part of this community.

Thank you John for your welcoming.

A little about myself. I am an engineer involved in oil and gas well drilling, working in the field, which even though I am away from home a lot, it gives me time to do a lot of reading and research.

I have always found Real Estate fascinating, and living in Houston area found that it is a market, which is in high demand for rental properties, because of the high dynamics of the city.

I would like to gain the knowledge @ BP, that will help me become a more successful landlord, who can make his tenants happy. How to recognize good deals, instead just thinking that one is, and create positive and hopefully substantial cash flow. How to obtain capital, ways to prepare the property for use, and being able to recognize who may be a good tenant.

I think that as time passes, and my knowledge is broadened I will be able to point existing and future members into right direction with REI, and especially to give advice on the niche market I will know.

At the moment, I have not considered REI as a complete gateway from my regular occupation, as I am just as fascinated with Oil and Gas Industry, and things that are happening around us with technological advances and new explorations. For now, I would like to treat REI more as a set up for a really good retirement, hopefully early one:)

BP has such an abundance of information, I am really looking forward to reading all the resources, listening to podcasts (where Brandon and Josh are doing a great job, and thanks to all the people sharing their stories) and connecting with other investors, potential partners especially from Houston, where I think I will stay for a while. Maybe as times passes by, out of state investing will become and option too.

Anyways, thank you for the welcoming and I am really excited to become a part of this community.
