Hi Bigger Pockets Community,

I have been reading and learning from all of you but never introduced myself. My name is Enis and I'm from Framingham, Mass. I have always been an entrepreneur at spirit and owned a restaurant and vending machine business before the age of 30. Real Estate is my new passion. I got my real estate license a few months ago and am planning on using it for my own deals. I will be doing fix & flip, buy & hold and some wholesaling. The ultimate goal is to have a portfolio of multi-families that will give me the passive income i want. 

Thank you Josh and Brandon for the awesome website..really enjoy the podcast as well, you guys are funny..Thanks to you I have met some people here in Mass who are great (thank you Justin Silverio, Aaron Montague, Shaun Reilly and others). I went to some of the events organized in my area (NEREIA in Chelmsford, Black Diamond in Waltham, and Justin Silverio's quarterly meeting). Going to this events is extremely important because this people have a lot of knowledge and they are happy to share it with you. Highly recommend it to everyone.

Hope to connect with more people and share with you my experience in real estate investing. This coming week will be buying my first property (it's a rehab project). Will keep you guys posted on how that goes.

Glad to see you are planning on getting more involved here on BP.

That is the best way to get the most out of it.  The more you participate the more you will learn and will also help others too.  The more you learn and help others the more contacts you will make and find people you might work with in the future or at the very least find people that you can bounce ideas off of.

Keep going out to the events (Will you be at Justin's next week?) to build your local network too.  Look forward to seeing you at some more and at the AAPP meetings now that you officially joined the brokerage.

Congrats on the deal.  Where is it?  What are your numbers on it?

@Shaun Reilly i will definitely be at Justin's event on Wednesday. Look forward to meet you there. My first rehab project is in North Wayland. It's a raised ranch sfr we are buying for $350k. ARV is $600k. Repairs seem to be in between $100k and $150k. These # are kind of scary for it being my first fix & flip but i hope all goes well. I'm partnering up with someone on this deal. Will keep you posted. Take care!!

That is a big range on the repairs.  Is that your guesstimate or did you get multiple bids with that range?  Are you and your partner bring all the money to the table to do it or are you financing it?
