Newbie from Northern Utah

Hi Everybody!  

My name is Casey Winger.  I am 27 years old and currently live in the Mobile Alabama area.  I am married and have a little boy who turns 3 next month, also my wife and I have another boy on the way due in October.  My wife and I are both from Northern Utah.  We are currently looking to move back to Utah to be close to family. 

I am fairly new to real estate.  We purchased a duplex two years ago and we currently live in one side and rent the other.  I have learned a lot over the last couple years and I am hoping that I can find great advice here through the members on this site to help me make good decisions.

I came to join this site after reading an article by Brandon Turner.  He talked about how older people love to help ambitious younger folks be successful.  After reading a bunch of articles in the forums, I must say that I am very impressed with the other members on this site and their willingness to help each other.

I am currently seeking advice on running some numbers on my property.  I am not sure which forum would be best to start a discussion?  In a nutshell, I am wanting help on running some numbers as to whether I should sell my current duplex here in alabama and buy something else in Utah, or if I should hold onto it and rent it.  I will provide all the details in my next post as soon as I figure out which category to post in.  Thanks in advance for the help, I appreciate it!
