I am 23 and purchased my first property at 22.  I own a modest condo in a nice area which I live in.  I have some money saved up which I would like to invest.  Real Estate has always seemed like a wise investment to me and I have known people to do very well in it.  My goal is to purchase a 4 pled or something similar and rent it out and then expand from there.

I have been thinking of trying to get a 4 plex property in Bakersfield.  There are some available for around low to mid 200's.  Any input would be much appreciated.

Note:  I do work full time and I was wondering whether or not I should use a property management company and the pro's / con's associated with that.

Thanks guys!
