Welcome to Columbus Evan. I recently bought a duplex on the OSU campus. Startup cost is high, but if you can get into a house with an FHA loan like I did you could be in for less than 15k. Rents on OSU campus range from $400-$500 / room. The high rent makes up for the high house cost. If you have any questions about investing on campus let me know, I'd be happy to help.
