Newbie in SE Michigan

Hey Everyone,

My name is Cris and I just wanted to introduce myself to everyone on this forum. I am looking for investing in rental proprieties in Westland/ Livonia Michigan area. I have lurked here in the last few weeks. Now that I am getting ready to really jump into REI I thought it would be a good idea to finally join.

Currently I do not have any experience owning any investment real estate but I studied the RE market in the last 3 years. I hope I did not lose the train to jump in the REI. The prices went up since 2-3 years ago for proprieties, at least for the ones on MLS. Do I have any chance to start investing so late in the game? To me it looks like all the best deals were good at least 2 years ago.

I am looking to network with people in the area. Can anybody recommend a friendly REI agent for this area?
