New Member Southern Maine
Hello BP!
My name is Susan Clough and I am new to the site.
My husband and I run a seafood business in Southern Maine. We are interested in fix/flips and buy and holds, preferably single family and multis that are four units or less. We are interested mainly in Saco, Old Orchard and Biddeford, though we aren't limiting our search. We aren't incredibly experienced, but we have owned ten or so properties over the years and been landlords in many of them. Most of these properties, however, were purchased because of their strategic location (near our businesses) and not strictly for RE investment.
We will be most active from September to March, because our business' busy season is summer. I am hoping that this will actually help our search, since the RE market in our area seems to slow significantly in the winter.
I have been doing a lot of research on this site and I really appreciate the way that everyone shares information. For that reason and for networking, I wanted to stop lurking and say hello!
Thanks to everyone who has already posted the hundreds of things that I have read. I will try to share with you anything that is worthwhile for you as well!
