Hello All,

My family and I live in Hampton, VA on a USAF base. My enlistment expires in July 2016 and I intend to transition back to the civilian world. We are checking out various places to settle, with the mid-Atlantic at the top of the list; eastern WVa, southern PA and DE. I do not have a RE background. Through this site I hope to learn if my skill-sets are suited for this line of work, and if RE investing is compatible with my desired lifestyle. In general, I'm interested in low-moderate risk RE investing and don't mind doing the grunt work (I enjoy Habitat for Humanity builds and hands-on projects). Interesting (to me at least) factoid about myself; I am a professional musician and perform in the USAF band program where I've had the privilege of playing for 3 US presidents, 2 of whom were living. I figure 2 out of 3 ain't bad.

I look forward to hearing from anyone kind enough to share their time and knowledge.

Best,

John Sayre
