Newbie from Champaign Illinois.
Hi everybody! I'm Joe and I'm new to BiggerPockets as well as Real Estate Investing. I'm a 22 year old from Champaign Illinois. I've been interested in investing (not just real estate) for a few years now and the past few months have been doing quite a bit of research on REI. I've still got a lot to learn before I get to really get my feet wet but am hoping to purchase my first rental property sometime during 2015.

Champaign, eh? Isn't that where the legendary Electrical/Computer Engineering school UIUC is? I would imagine rental properties would be great cashflow around there! But that's just my own newbie pondering.
