New Investor from Utica, NY area
Hello all,
My name is Jeff Johnson. I actually signed up with Bigger Pockets back in 2011 and have mostly remained on the sidelines. I am a contractor working in the modular home industry and do real estate investing on the side. I like the buy, hold and rent strategy. I started investing in 1998 by buying a 2 family rental and living in one unit. This worked out really well for me and got me started down the path of investing. I recently discovered the BP podcasts, and they are awesome! I have plenty of windshield time everyday and I am taking advantage by listening to all the shows. I also started browsing the forums and am amazed at the quality of information there. I learn something new every day on here. My real estate goals are to acquire more buy and hold duplexes and multi-family properties.
