Hello BP,

I have interested in Real Estate for about 8 years now.  I have been studying in my spare time and I have read a lot on BiggerPockets.  I have listened to some of the podcast while at the gym, and I am impressed with the community, great work!  I am looking for rentals to build passive income.  I am also interested in flipping home to generate more cash.

I have been able to save up a little bit of money and I want to seriously look into investing.  I am interested in starting a group for the Des Moines, IA area.  I am currently employed at one of the major hospital systems doing IT support.

Currently I am looking to put my money in a duplex to live in one side while renting out the other.
