I have recently decided to expand my real estate investment knowledge and start learning some new strategies. I'm excited to be a part of Bigger Pockets and know that it will help with the learning curve!

I currently own two single family rentals. I just started managing one of the properties myself and that has been a huge learning experience for me. The other property is three hours from where I live so I have a property manager for that one.

I would like to expand into some additional areas of investment. My focus for this year is going to be on rehab and wholesaling. I would also like to understand more about owner finance.

I look forward to learning from other members of Bigger Pockets!

@Christine Newton

Welcome to BP . are your two current SFR in your local market ? BP is a great resouce .

that will provide alot of helps and tips for your goals.  One tip that I picked up here is while you are starting out and saving money for your investments, start driving / visiting areas you would like to invest in so you get a feel for prices, rents , house conditions etc, and visit and look at lots of homes and open houses so your eye get used to looking at repairs / upgrades that are normal in a particular market. I really dont think you can look at too many properties, and the more you look, the more knowledge you will gain for that market.

Also listen to the Podacsts .  tehy have sveral on rehabbing and wholesaling.  J Scott Podcast was excellent .
