How do I  get my wife to get on board with me to try real estate investing? She is very skeptical and does not like risk.

I had a similar issue when I first started. As strange and awkward as it may sound go through your business plan with her as if she was a potential investor give her numbers and show her the potential, be specific. The important thing is to have your exit strategies outlined  so there is that trust and peace of mind that what you are planning has been well thought out. Lastly show her whats in it for her don't exaggerate be realistic. If you can confidently talk to what you plan is and she can understand it I'm sure she will support you.  Like anything else there is a risk involved surround yourself with a go-to person in the business such as a mentor and show her this great community on bigger pockets.
