Newbie Investor in Houston

My name is Kyle Lake and I'm just getting started in real estate investing looking to begin in the Houston area where I live. My father is also looking to get started so I'm partnering with him since he has the capital. Our goals are just to get started first and formost and buy 2 or 3 houses a year.
